Hi there! My name is Robyn – I’m 17 and I’m from South Africa. I just wanted to say that I’m a huge fan of your artwork and that you’re incredibly talented.

I’m busy doing an art project at school, and I’m also working with paper, and I was wondering if you could maybe help me out with some tips about working with delicate paper like in your art? Like maybe how you use layers of paper in your art? And things like that :) my email is robyn.boardman@gmail.com :)

Thanks so much for your time – I really appreciate it :)

Hello Robyn, I use quite a heavy paper, it’s about 180 gsm so it’s quite strong. Also the layers are separated with little cushions of foamcore which are glued on each layer. Good luck, Emma van Leest.
